This chair stems from Robin Day's ubiquitous polypropylene 'Polyprop' series. The polypropylene collection of seating is acknowledged to be one of the most innovative seating developments this century. It uses the same principles as his classic poly side chair. Over 20 years later, these chairs are still being produced today. The seat and back of the chair are made in one piece from injection moulded polypropylene which allows it to be tough, durable and long lasting. No other known material has as favourable a combination of weight, strength and chemical resilience.
